Dogs our best friends

Well, is this saying true. And is there not another sayint that diamonds are a girl´s best friends.

I must admit I really like diamonds, but he what woman does not. But I also like dogs, I was never afraid of dogs. Yesterday when we drove to the 23rd district for a tennis match (I am a really bad tennis player, I like the sport aspect of tennis more..the running) in the hall one of the stuff there had a golden retriever a real beautiful one. This dog was so nice he showed no sign of being afraid but also no sign of being agressive.

And here we come to another part, the part of agressive dogs. A dog is never never ever agressive when born. It is us the owners the humans who make a dog agressive by the way we treat them and what we teach them. When we only teach a dog that he has to watch out and punish the dog for anything he might have done wrong, no wonder that this dog gets agressive he doesn´t know anything else. But this is not the fault of the poor dog, it is the fault of the person who owns the dog. If a dog bites a girl we should not say that this type of dog is agressive we should ask how the owner treated this dog. What made this dog get so agressive. Of course we should feel sorry for the girl who got bite, but also for the dog because we don´t know what kind of life this poor animal had so far. And what kind of bad treatments from the owner caused this action. Dogs are very loyal animals unlike cats. There is a saying that goes that when you have a dog you are the owner but when you have a cat you are a servant. Dogs are truly one of the most loyal animals and this is even more sad because no matter how bad some people treat their dogs the dogs stay loyal. The could also bite the owner but they don´t. They are too loyal, that is kind of sad.

Another problem is that when a family has a young kid and this kid wants a dog as a present. Yeah we all know the story how often does a dog or any other pet end up under the Christmas tree and how often do we find that pet a few weeks later lost alone in the middle of nowhere. That is not a way to treat a family member...yes pets are family members. We are supposed to take care of them from the moment on we buy them.

Last year a great do died. His name was Dusty, he was the family dog and he was kept by my brother Günther. He was a real fighter. He had a hard attack twice. The first one was two years ago at the beginning of the new year. He was already a very old dog than but he recovered greatly and even survived a second one. But than it was just to much and he was very old already. But what made me happy is that he had a good life everybody in the family loved him and although he was old he often acompanied me on my Sunday morning running tours, and yes he still could keep up with me. He died in peace just fell asleep and did not wake up anymore. Of corse we were all sad but my brother knew that he wanted a new family member and he knew what kind of dog he wanted.

A Japanese AKITA and of course he named him after the famous Akita-dog who is a symbol in Japan for true loyality. He even has a statue in Japan, the original of course. This was a dog who loved the owner so much taht even after the owner died he stayed around he did not accept another owner and went to the grave every single day until he died. This was a real loyal dog. Well the dog of my brother named Hachiko is very bullheaded I must admit but on the other side when I hear my brother talking about his adventures with him I know that my brother loves this dog and would never treat him bad. We even think about going on holiday together with Hachiko of course. Him without his dog is hard to imagine. And  luckily the training in dog school makes him less bullheaded, but he still thinks that he can just take my brother to a walk to "Fressnapf" and he would get whatever he wants.

But why do so many people treat their dogs bad? Don´t they know that dogs have feelings to, this can´t be, or? I mean dogs are great companions, they are always there for us no matter if we are happy or sad.

But for those who know what kind of responsibility they get in when they buy a dog, even buying the dog is a lot of research because so many people sell dogs that they keep under horrible circumstances and conditions. For a lot of people selling dogs is just a source of income a blooming industry. When I helped my brother getting his dog I found out what kind of bad industry this is. There were offers online that even said that if you pay € 300,00 in advance the dog would be in front of your home door by tomorrow morning, oh I forgot to mention that dis dog would have been on his way from Africa??? Or another woman selling dogs in the Czech Republic and would be willing do drop the dog as she has to pass by Vienna anyway but of course for another extra money and somehow all these pictures online from those cute puppies look alike. I mean like the same dog that is on at least 5 different offers for sale from 5 different places, really strange or.

Anyway if your are aware of the responsibility of buying a dog and adding a new member to the family also make sure that you get the dog from a reliable place. Dogs are great animals and they deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.

Streunerpatenschaft

Hmm komisch irgendwie entwickelt sich die Richtung meiner Posts anders. Statt über Sport schreibe ich jetzt über Tierversuche, Tötung von Tieren im Auftrag von Karl Lagerfeld und so weiter.

Und deswegen auch heute ein wichtiger Post...und zwar über Streunerpatenschaften, gemeint sind Streunerhunde in Rumänien.

Im Früjahr brachen Hundefänger in eine Tierklinik in Bukarest ein, welche unter der Obhut von "Vier Pfoten" stand und misshandelten, entführten und töteten sogar Tiere. Obwohl mittlerweile (längst überfällig) das Töten von Tieren in Rumänien verboten ist, nimmt es trotzdem kein Ende. Nach wie vor werden dort Streuner gejagt und getötet. Es ist an der Zeit dem ein Ende zu setzen! "Vier Pfoten" baut daher eine Rettungsstation im Tierheim Speranta.

Der Bau kostet natürlich viel Geld. Allerdings sind diese Kosten nichts im Vergleich mit den Kosten für die geschätzten 600 Streunerhunde die bereits dort leben und die täglich neu hinzukommenden Hunde, welche dringend Hilfe benötigen.

Deshalb gibt es die Möglichkeit eine Streunerpatenschaft zu übernehmen. Damit unterstütz man "Vier Pfoten" und schützt auch das Leben eines armen, wehrlosen Hundes.

Tierversuche im Auftrag der Schönheit

OK heute mal wieder ein wichtiges Thema. Tierversuche in der Kosmetik.....

Ab 11. März 2013 dürfen an Tieren getestete Kosmetika und deren Inhaltsstoffe nicht mehr in der EU eingeführt werden. Ein wichtiger Schritt für Tierversuchsgegner.  Trotzdem ist der Weg noch lange nicht zu Ende, denn Tiere werden in vielen anderen Bereichen zu Tode gequält uns selbst in der Kosmetikbranche ist noch immer kein Ende in Sicht. Außerhalb der EU dürfen die Tierversuche in der Kosmetikbranche nämlich munter weiter betrieben werden.
Bereits seit 2004 dürfen fertige Kosmetikprodukte in der EU nicht mehr an Tieren getestet werden. Seit 2009 gibt es ein Verbot, dass es in der EU auch verbietet, einzelne Inhaltsstoffe von Kesmetikprodukten im Tierversuch zu prüfen. Für Allergie, Krebs oder Fortpflanzungsschäden gab es allerdings eine Ausnahmeregelung, sofern der Tierversuch außerhalb der EU durchgeführt wurde. Was soll das denn?? Da schmückte sich die EU mit Lorbeeren und dann ist es OK solange es nicht in der EU ist, das kann doch wohl nicht sein. Aber nun gut, auch dies wurde ja behoben.

Allerdings dürfen für den nicht EU-Raum noch immer Tierversuche für kosmetische Produkte durchgeführt werden. Was also tun? Beziehungsweise hat auch dieser historische Tag im Jahr 2013 ein Schlupfloch.
Denn dieses Verkaufsverbot gilt lediglich für Produkte die neu auf dem Markt kommen, somit sind alle Produkte die vor dem 11. März 2013 am Markt waren und an Tieren getestet wurden erlaubt. Und das ist wohl die Mehrheit der Artikel, die sich in den Regalen der Drogeriemärkte befinden. Was noch dazu kommt, ist dass diese ohne spezielle Kennzeichnung verkauft werden können. Somit kann man noch immer nicht sicher sein, dass für dieses Produkt keine Tierversuche durchgeführt wurden, sondern muss nach wie vor auf Hompages oder Apps suchen.

Außerdem bezieht sich dieses Verbot von Tierversuchen nur auf Inhaltsstoffe die nur für Kosmetika entwickelt werden. Das ist allerdings ein Minimum, die meisten Inhaltsstoffe kommen auch in Wasch- oder Reinigungsmittel vor. Diese Inhaltsstoffe durchlaufen die für Chemikalien vorgeschriebenen Tests, welche toxikologische Untersuchungen und viele weitere Experimente an Tieren beinhalten. Und eben jene Inhaltsstoffe werden später nun auch für Kosmetika verwendet.

OK, also wo genau ist jetzt der Unterschied? Was genau bewirkt denn nun dieses Gesetz, wenn die meisten Inhaltsstoffe für Kosmetika trotzdem weiterhin an Tieren getestet werden dürfen? Mehr als 5 Milliarden Kosmetikprodukte werden jedes Jahr in der EU verkauft, wie sollen wir da bitte noch den Überblick behalten welche Fimen nun wirklich keine erlaubten oder nicht erlaubten Tierversuche durchführen?

So gut gemeint dieses Gesetz auch sein mag, ich finde trotzdem dass eine strengere Regelung benötigt wird.

Echter Pelz in der Modebranche....muss das sein

Er ist flauschig, kuschelig und natürlich angenehm warm....und wenn er auch noch echt ist sterben für ihn jedes Jahr Millionen Tiere. Muss das sein?

Eine Umfrage der Organisation "Vier Pfoten" bestätigt dass viele Leute wieder Pelz tragen aber nur die wenigsten von Ihnen wissen, ob er echt ist oder nicht. Wie kann das sein? Ich würde schon wissen wollen, ob für mein Kleidungsstück Tiere sterben mussten, oder nicht.

"Vier Pfoten" führte in Wien, Berlin und Zürich eine "Check your jacket"-Umfrage durch. Diese Umfrage zeigte, dass eben dass viele nicht wissen, ob sie echten oder falschen Pelz tragen. Ganz zu schweigen davon, um welches Tier es sich dabei handelt. Ein paar von den befragten Personen outeten sich sogar als Pelz-Fans. Egal welches Tier dafür sterben musste, ist ja wohl auch nicht so wichtig, oder? Hauptsache kuschelig warm.

Diese Umfrage bestätigte leider auch, dass der Pelz wieder salonfähig wird. Muss das sein? Wie lange hat es gedauert, bis man den Menschen begreiflich gemacht hat wieviele Tiere dafür sterben. Nur damit wir mit einem ECHTEN Pelz herumlaufen können. Und jetzt soll das wirklich alles umsonst gewesen sein? Ein Grund dafür ist natürlich dass der Pelz in der aktuellen Modekollektion 2014/2015 ein Comback feiert.
Geschmacklosigkeit kennt ja bekanntlich keine Grenzen! Aber das muss ja wirklich nicht sein.

Wie kann aber jemand, erkennen ob der Pelz echt ist oder nicht? Dazu geben die Experten ein paar Anhaltspunkte wie zum Beispiel der Haartest. Bläst man in den Pelz hinein und die Härchen flirren in verschiedene Richtungen ist es wohl ein echter Pelz. Kunstpelz ist fester und somit haften die Härchen näher aneinander. Ein weiterer Anhaltspunkt ist ob der Pelz an einem textilen Stoff befestigt ist, das würde für Kunstpelz sprechen. Natürlich muss einem die Verkäuferin in einem Geschäft auch darüber Auskunft geben können. Die Organisation "Vier-Pfoten" hat auch ein App auf welchem man nachlesen kann, welche Firmen garantiert keinen Echtpelz verwenden.

Aber was kann man tun um diesen Wahnsinn zu stoppen? Pro Jahr sterben ungefähr 100 Millionen Nerze, Füchse und Marderhunde "im Namen der Mode". Das kann so nicht weitergehen. Es ist an uns ein Zeichen zu setzen und den großen Namen der Modebranche zu zeigen, dass wir da nicht mehr mitspielen.
Immerhin sind wir ja die Konsumeten, ohne uns machen diese Labels keinen Umsat, somit haben wir es doche eigentlich in der Hand.

WIR ENTSCHEIDEN DOCH WAS WIR KAUFEN!!!

Somit müssen sich diese Labels doch nach uns richten. Wir dürfen uns nur nicht von Ihnen und den Promis, welche diese Kleidung tragen (oder diesen Taschananhänger namens Karlito) einlullen lassen.Bisher war immer der Preis für manche ein Kriterium sich keinen echten Pelz zu kaufen, wenn schon nicht die Tierquälterei und der Tiermord. Aber das ist nicht mehr so, denn eine Haube mit einem echten Pelzbommel ist schon ab ungefähr € 20,00 erhältlich. Somit kaufen die meisten ein, ohne auch nur einen Gedanken daran zu verlieren, welches Tier dafür gestorben ist.

Und genau da müssen wir ansetzen, denn wenn wir nichts kaufen, das echten Pelz enthält, werden diese Labels wohl umdenken müssen und die Produktion von echtem Pelz einstellen. Wir müssen ein Zeichen setzen, damit die es begreifen. Aber dafür müssen wir vielen Leuten erst bewusst machen, was für ein grausamer Massentiermord da eigentlich stattfindet. Wieviele Tiere ein kurzes Leben in winzigen Käfigen fristen und dann brutal ermordet werden nur damit den Käufern im Winter kuschelig warm ist in ihrer Jacke. Als ob das nur mit echten Pelz möglich wäre, ist ja lächerlich. Wir müssen uns beziehungseise all jenen ins Gedächtnis rufen, wie das Tier denn aussieht oder aussah als es noch am Leben war. Was wäre wenn bei der nächsten Modeschau mit echten Pelz neben dem Model, dass den Mantel trägt ein Silberfuchs laufen würde, oder ein Marder? Würden dann die Leute wirklich wollen, dass die Tiere für diesen Mantel ermordet werden? Hoffentlich nicht! Das ist es aber, was wir in das Bewusstsein der Menschen bringen müssen, welches Tier genau dafür sterben musste.

rtuell spazieren gehen lassen, es handelt sich bei dieser Kampange um ein "Fur free retailer Programm". Diese Kampagne soll dabei helfen pelzfreie Mode zu finden. Einige große Modelabels wie Esprit oder S. Oliver sind bereits vertreten, gut so. Aber es müssen noch viel mehr kommen.

Fendi Karlito...oder tote Tiere

Liebe Leserinnen,

heute schreibe ich ausnahmsweise mal auf Deutsch, weil mein Englisch mein Entsetzen wohl nicht gut genug ausdrücken kann über das, was ich heute auf Facebook gesehen habe und was der Titel dieses Posts ist.

Fendi Karlito oder "Tiertöter" besser gesagt beziehungsweise ehrlich gesagt denn das ist es was man macht un diese Anhänger herzustellen. Man tötet unschuldige Tiere.

Die Einführungsfeier dieses neuen IT-Teils fand am 8. Juli 2014 statt. Es handelt sich dabei um Anhänger für Taschen die angeblich geformt sein sollen wie Karl Lagerfeld. Ein Karlito kostet ungefähr € 1.200,00. Das Leben von einem Tier um € 1.200,00 zum Angeben als Taschenanhänger. Würden diese Leute denn auch für € 1.200,00 ihre eigenes Haustier töten lassen und sie dann als Anhänger herumtragen?

Die Schlagzeilen der Modewelt lauten etwa so:

                Kult-Accessoire: Lagerfelds pelziges Mini-Me für € 1.200,00

                Fendi Karlito cocktail party   oder

                Fendi´s Karlito is the hottest acessory of the season

Bei der Einführungsfeier war natürlich die Promiwelt zahlreich vertreten und alle von ihnen lieben diesen Anhänger.
Ich muss gestehen, ich bin sprachlos über dieses Verhalten. Dieses so genannte neue Kult-Accessoire besteht aus totem Tier. Nicht nur einem toten Tier, für dieses meiner Meinung nach geschmackloseste Accessoire der Saison müssen gelich drei Tiere unfreiwillig ihr Leben lassen. Ein Karlito besteht nämlich aus Nerz, Silberfuchs und Ziege.

Halb so schlimm mögen die Promis wohl denken, aber was ist wenn es als nächstes IN wäre Katzenfell für den Karlito zu verwenden oder für die nächste Schnapsidee von dem Modeguru Karl Lagerfeld. Würde Karl Lagefeld denn seine "ach so geliebte" Katze Choupette für einen dämlichen Anhänger opfern? Wohl kaum. Aber Fuchs und Ziege kein Problem die töten wir einfach und tragen sie dann als coole Taschenanhänger. Das ist wohl der Schwachsinn des Jahres nein sorry das ist wohl nächstes Jahr auch noch der größte Schwachsinn.

Das wohl lächerlichste an der ganzen Sache ist, dass aufgrund der Beliebtheit unter den Promis es bereits eine Warteliste von mehr als 600 Personen für diesen Anhänger gibt. Wie kann das sein? Warum stürzen sich alle auf dieses eklige Ding und warum nützen die Promis nicht ihren Status und setzen sich für die richtigen Werte ein? OK einige Promis tun es, ich denke wir werden Ian Somerhalder wohl nie mit einem Karlito sehen. Gut so, aber Stars wie Nina Dobrev oder Anna Dello Russo waren auf der Karlito cocktail party und sichtlich angetan von diesem Anhänger der Tierleben kostet.

Ob sie wohl auch so angetan wären, wenn sie beim Herstellungsprozess dieses Anhängers dabei wären und zwar vom Anfang an, sprich wenn die Tiere getötet werden. Oder wie wäre es wenn denn die Promis die Tiere gleich selbst umbringen und zu Karl Lagerfeld bringen, der dann daraus selbst einen Karlito produzieren darf. Es mag jetzt hart klingen, was ich schreibe aber nur wegen einem Anhänger Tierleben zu opfern, ist es ebenfalls hart und absolut unnötig.

Ist es denn wirklich zuviel verlangt die Tiere am Leben zu lassen und dafür künstliches Fell zu verwenden? Oder ist man denn in dieser Saison wirklich nur IN wenn man echte, tote Tiere als Taschenanhänger verwendet?

Sollte denn nicht auch bei den großen Modelabels oder bei Herrn Lagerfeld ein Umdenkprozess beginnen.
Wieviele Tiere müssen denn getötet werden, damit die komplette Warteliste für diesen Anhänger beliefert werden kann?

Meine ehrliche Meinung.....ich finde jemand sollte eine ANTI-Karlito Seite gründen und allen Modelabels die nicht auf echtes Fell verzichten wollen den Kampf ansagen. Ich mag den Silberfuchs lieber in echt, als als toter Bestandteil dieses dämlichen Anhängers.

Shoes....how many do we need of them....

Well Ladies, today I want to talk about a hot topic. How many shoes do we need, or how many do we have?

I am pretty sure that we all have more shoes that we actually need. This is a fact or let´s say 90 % of all woman have more shoes than they need. And I am no exception, definately not. I have 4 pairs of sports shoes....yes four, I mean I need my running shoes, my fancy looking pink and black Nike Air shoes, my black sport shoes and my martial arts sport shoes.....well OK I also ordered another pair of sport shoes today but it did not arrive yet so I don´t have to count this one already, right?

If you type in shoe collection on Youtube you get 411.000,- results. That is impressive. But what is it with us and shoes? Why do we love them so much?? The average woman has about 10 pair of shoes said a study in the year 2010. I really doubt that, must be more. I mean only 14 pairs of shoes, this study already includes sport shoes, and winter shoes......way to less.

Really I mean, I don´t think that I am over the average when it comes to shoes (well except sport shoes perhaps) but 10 pair of shoes sounds less to me.

Let´s face it, what shoes do we need:
                
                                                       1 pair of sport shoes (at least if not one more for running)
                                                       1 pair of ballerinas for summer
                                                       1 pair of house shoes
                                                       1 pair of winter boots warm ones
                                                       1 pair of winter shoes fancy ones
                                                       1 pair of ankle boots
                                                       1 pair of sandals for summer or flip flops
                                                       1 pair of high heels, well actually 2 or 3 pair of high heels in
                                                         different colours
                                                         

OK if we would stop counting and buying here 14 would be enough. But the problem is that we need all of these shoes also in different colours of course or different type of shoes, like Cowboy boots that fit only to one special jeans. But we love this jean so we need that Cowboy boots to make the look complete.
And also we can not wear those black high heels to this nice yellow summer dress, it just would not look good. So we need other high heels that match the dress.

Our problem is simply that we want to look great. So what, it is not bad to try to look our best, or? I admit that we should not cross a special limit of shoes or special amount that we spend on shoes but 14 pairs of shoes is a line that I can cross easily....alone my sport shoes make almost a third of this.

We simply love shoes that match our outfit. And we love creating new outfits. I remeber that I bought a trouser and later found a great matching shirt. But somehow all the shoes did not match, til I found light brown looking boots. This match was a great outfit for fall. First when I saw the shoes in the shop I really tried to resist, although I knew that this would be the perfect match for my still unfinished look. I did not buy them on the first day when I saw them on a Friday afternoon. But I can tell you after sleeping over it and looking at my unfinished outfit at home I was the first customer in the shop on the next day. Not even looking around for other shoes just getting this pair in my size and as fast as possible. I still have these shoes, love this shoes and enjoy every day in autum where I wear this outfit. Well as soon as I found a matching bag as my old bag for this outfit got broken last fall. Yeah no need to say now that we also love bags.

A good friend of mine, who has a great sense of style loves it when the bag is matching her shoes. I must admit I like that too. Dressing the way you like is a great way of expressing your personality and how you feel. This is what makes us buy so many shoes, cause we need to express with our look how we feel. And we have more than 3 moods for summer, 3 for fall, 3 for winter and 3 for spring. We have way more. On days we feel ready for adventure, or we are in a romantic mood, or we feel a bit sad, ready to take on a fight or we need to put on our best business look to impress the new boss. We woman really feel that we need to look our best. Or most of us feel like this.

Sometimes I think that we also overdo it, or to say that some woman don´t want us to see how they really feel or in what situation they really are by dressing up extraordinarily pretty. Years ago I read in a magazine about people who feel like they need to impress others by how they look. They spend all their money on expensive clothes and shoes. Really all, they had no money for rent or they were living in a rented room because they could not affort renting a whole flat. They just wanted to impress others with their outfit and not letting anybody see, how they really feel inside and how their real situation is.

This made me feel very sad. There should be a limit, I mean buying what I can´t afford or spending almost all my money on clothes or shoes is too much. I admit that I have more than 14 pairs of shoes but I know how to keep my balance.



                                                       

Friendships and why they are so important

Friends...we all have them and we all need them. You go to movies with them or a concert or for a cocktail.
And the best of your friends you even can call at night and they will listen to what you have to say when your world just broke down once again.

Friends are important no matter if you are at the age of four or forty. And it also does not matter if you knew this friend back in elementary school or just for a few months. Friendship is friendship but it does not grow alone. It is also important to work on that friendship and to put an input in it.
A saying goes that you can´t chose your family but you can decide who you want to have as a friend. And that is correct. Nowadays it looks more and more that we have friends for every special part of your life.
You have that friend that will honestly tell you that your booty looks big in that skirt and than you have the friend that likes the same movies that you do.

I for example have my Dani and she is the only one who understands my passion for Korean pop music and TV-shows, especially Rain my favourite korean singer. Nobody else understands this as good as her and she shares the same interest although lately she likes Taiwanese pop music more and spends her holiday every year in Taiwan. This year so far I had almost no time to see her and at the moment she is in Taiwan again but I know that she is still one of my best friends. And with whom else can I fly to Berlin when Rain is there to act in a movie again, hmmm. I know that one day she might probably move to Taiwan as she loves this place so much and that is OK. I even wish that she will do so one day because friends you only wish what is best for them. And to see it also from my side it is cool if I go there on holiday one time I have a place where I can stay for free.

With friends you share special moments like the usual Starbucks hangout before Hip-Hop class or going to a hotel asking if a Jung Ji-hoon checked in there (lol). Friends who go with you through thick and thin are very special and must be appriciated. But sometimes you also lose some friends over the years. This is normal because our interests change and we go to different directions in life. I had a good friend when I still lived on the countryside. Almost every Saturday morning we met for breakfast and went shopping together. But since I moved to Vienna I found it hard to stay in contact. Of course I drove out to the village to see her from time to time but she never came to see my new place in Vienna and she never called me on her own to just say hi.  So this is why our friendship is not really there anymore. One time I saw her at the train station we talked but this "buddy feeling" was not there anymore. For me this was a very sad moment.

Luckily we have new friends coming into our life as well. As I quit my working place and took on another job I found out that a former workmate became a good friend to me also. I even managed to talk her into helping me out when I needed a shopping companionship for the German TV-show "Shopping Queen". She really joined me for this TV program and I am so thankful for that. In return I joined her team for a competition and will do so again coming Saturday. And of course not to forget our famous cocktail tours, I just love Mojitos but now I know that I should never drink more than 3 of them.

With friends you share your interest, which you do not always with your family members as they just might have other interest. With friends you also discover new things our find out that you have more in common than you thought. For example me and my Alex....first we started as cosmetician and customer. But with time she became a friend. We also don´t meet so often except of course when I go for cosmetic treatment (4 my luxus in 22nd district of Vienna). But whenever we meet we have a great talk about any topic from the TV-shows she likes or I like to how important it is to stay positive. It is not important how often you meet your friends but how much you know you can rely on them. When it comes to Alex I am a 100 percent sure that if I knock on her door with a problem she will ask me in no matter what time and try to make me smile again. That is what I call a real great friend. Friendships like this give you encoureagement, appreciation and assistance.

Studies found out that friendships are also good for the body and soul. An Australian study found out that people who are surroundes by good friends live longer. The positive impact of relatives or the childrend was not as high as the impact of good friends. Wow, one more reason to appreciate them.

So today I actually just write to say thank you to all my good friends out there and I really appreciate you.
